Solid frame,
brand-new deck.
The structure was sound, so we kept it and rebuilt everything on top in fresh pressure-treated lumber.
No need to start from scratch.
The frame underneath this deck was in good shape, so tearing it out would have meant paying to replace something that did not need replacing.
We rebuilt everything above it in pressure-treated lumber: new decking, new railing, and new stairs, all built to match and made to last.
Pressure-treated holds up to the weather on its own, and it is ready to take a stain down the road whenever the owner wants to add color.
